President Obama reelection bid

President Obama is already starting his campaing for the 2010 election with a video that he made telling supporters that he will run for another bid and trying to gain more support. He says that the primary focuses of his 2010 campaign will be to improve the nation's healthcare system, fix Wall Street, and to get the U.S. economy moving again. His campaign won't be easy though. Because many of the economic decisions that he has made have upset many Republicans, they believe that he has held the recovery back. His campaign will have to address the national debt in order to gain any popularity. He also has to persuade the people that he is going to compromise some sort of plan in order to save the economy. He plans to jump start a massive fund-raising drive to raise money for his campaign by filing his legal paperwork in advance.

Personally, I don't think it's necessary for President Obama to already start thinking about how to raise money for his campaign. But then again being in the government is all about campaigning and keeping your spot. The government should be focusing on issues that will help our economy especially in this recession, not focusing on what people think of them and keeping their job.

While I do respect your opinion it is probably a good idea for Obama to start fundraising for his campaign earlier than later. His popularity is probably not that high right now amongst several states so it would probably be essential for him to start early. I do agree that the government should be focusing on the economy but at the same time, Obama has to be re-elected in order to continue to make progress in our economy.
